Questa è la coppa dell'olio maggiorata che era montata sulle "WORKS SPITFIRE". La capacità aumenta di circa 1,5 litri. All'interno, sono presenti anche delle paratie mobili antisbattimento

RESTALL CO-DRIVER SEAT

Restall è un marchio noto agli appassionati di auto storiche, perchè forniva i propri sedili alla maggior parte delle squadre corse, sia rally che pista, dagli inizi a oltre la metà degli anni 60'.

Anche la Triumph per il suo reparto corse aveva scelto Restall per le proprie vetture. Questo sedile era quello che veniva adottato sulle Works Rally Spitfire per il navigatore; molto comodo anche se non proprio avvolgente.

Finalmente ecco il sedile montato sulla WRS; un altro pezzo di storia che si completa.

FISC TOUR A MONZA

Tappa italiana del FISC TOUR "Leggendary circuits series" a Monza questo week end. L'evento era in concomitanza con la tappa della Porsche Cup e una infinita serie di altre gare di contorno. Da Venerdì a Domenica 3 gare e rispettive qualifiche per il FISC TOUR. Tra i protagonisti, anche John Davis, pilota inglese che da tempo partecipa a queste gare. Reduce da un brutto incidente al Nurburgring un mese fà, fortunatamente incolume, ha purtroppo distrutto la sua Triumph Vitesse Estate. Grazie al suo fido amico e meccanico Jonathan Binnington, ha preso parte alla gara di Monza con la Spitfire "Supersix" dello stesso Jonathan. Al venerdì ha subito un ritiro per la rottura del differenziale, al sabato una bella gara e la domenica un altro ritiro per colpa di uno stupido fusibile della fuel pump. Tutti felici e contenti comunque, una bella esperienza su una pista fantastica. Per l'occasione,ho portato la WRS nel paddock di Monza; la GT6R purtroppo è ancora in fase di assemblaggio.

Italian round of FISC TOUR “Leggendary circuits series” to Monza this week end. The event was concomitant with the Porsche Cup Round and one infinite series of other races. From Friday to Sunday 3 races and respective qualifications for FISC TOUR. Between the protagonists, also John Davis, English driver who for a long time participates to these races.
